Peeking out of his coral crevice, the giant moray eel keeps his giant body hidden. They can grow up to 3 m in length and prefer to keep that a secret during the day. These nocturnal creatures like to come out at night to hunt using scent to locate small fish and crustaceans. They are harmless to humans, unless they are accustomed to eating hot dogs and then they might mistake your finger for one (true facts…don’t feed the wildlife, they’ll end up biting you).
