This tiny sea slug or nudibranch (Phyllidia varicosa), no bigger than the tip of your thumb, has an even tinier creature living on its skin called a copepod. See if you can find her…we know it’s a she because of the pair of white egg sacs that are attached to her. The marine world is a world full symbiotic relationships and strange creatures. Most of these creatures we do not even know and they are disappearing before we can even identify them. A staggering 95% percent of our oceans remain unexplored…imagine the wonders that are vanishing because of us yet without our recognition that they ever existed.
